We are excited to let you know that our inspirational rhino poaching survivor Thandi and her calf Thembi will feature in a new ITV documentary series called Animal Mums on Sunday 23 August 2015. The first episode, featuring the two Kariega rhino, airs on ITV One at 7pm.

Rhino warrior Angie Goody reminisces about her excitement when Thandi's rhino calf Thembi was born and at their first meeting. We celebrate this miracle calf turning six months old today.

My first sight of Thandi and Tembi was a very moving experience, knowing all this brave rhino mom has been through. Mix this in with a huge dollop of joy at seeing her healthy little one suckling greedily while ma grazed away calmly and you find your emotions on a real rollercoaster.
