It's a bit late this week, but hopefully worth the wait! Not so much a photo, our selection this week is a collage design depicting the great accomplishments of the Rooting-for-Rhino's school challenge during 2012. To sum up - the project included 31 schools taking part over three and a half months, raising R53 278, 28 toward saving rhino across Southern Africa! In October the Rooting-for Rhino Challenge donated R22 956, 25 of this to the Kariega Foundation Save the Rhino fund. WOW! What a wonderful initiative and the caption speaks for itself - "The children have spoken... let's unite against poaching to SAVE OUR RHINO!"

A wonderful Christmas gift to all rhino, and we truly hope that all the funds raised go a long way in helping to save the African rhino this year. From everybody at Kariega Game Reserve South Africa, congratulations and a big, big thank you to all the parents, teachers, organisers and of course all the children involved!
