Thank you to Kariega guest Conor Mcloughlin for this incredible video of his African safari at Kariega Game Reserve. It captures the sense of adventure and excitement one feels when tracking animals in the African wild and beautifully depicts the magnificent landscape and terrain that is typical to the greater Kariega wilderness. 

New Video Category in Kariega’s 2017 Facebook Photo Competition

We were so inspired by Connor’s video that we have decided to open a new category in Kariega’s 2017 Facebook Photographic Competition. The two existing categories are:

1. Best Wildlife Photograph – voted for by our panel of judges.

2. Audience Favourite Wildlife Photograph – voted for by our Facebook community.

The new category will be:

3. Best Kariega Safari Video – voted for by our panel of judges.

Three Easy Steps to Enter Video into 2017 Photo Competition

There are three easy steps to enter your video into the 2017 competition.

1. Upload your video to YouTube.

2. Make sure the title of your video includes Kariega Game Reserve.

3. Post a link to your video to the Kariega Facebook page.  

This new category of the competition opens on 1 October 2016 and closes at the end of April 2017. The winner will get the opportunity to visit Kariega again and receive a complimentary and fully inclusive, two night stay for two people at our Ukhozi Lodge.

How to Enter if you have Already Uploaded a Video to YouTube

If you have already uploaded a video to YouTube like Connor Mcloughlin, please ensure that you have included Kariega Game Reserve in your title and then share the link to your video on our Facebook page before the end of April 2017. You will then be in the running to be our first ever winner of the Best Video category in our 2017 Kariega Facebook Photo Competition!
