Another month gone and autumn is on its way!
We have another beautiful baby giraffe, born 23 March 2011. This photo was taken a day later, still wobbly and staying very close to mom.
A flower growing in clumps in front of reception and all across the reserve has made its appearance recently. It is the April fool - unlike the blood lily, it has no known traditional uses and is just there for our pleasure.
These caracals were spotted hunting quails at the top of middle-kloof, a truly rare and fabulous sighting.
