Filmmaker at Kariega Game Reserve South Africa to capture the story of Thandi the Rhino
This short clip was uploaded by documentary filmmaker Rian van der Walt when he recently visited Kariega Game Reserve to shoot for 'Heroes of the Rhino War' - a project in collaboration with the Wilderness Foundation to tell the inspirational and at times heartbreaking stories of the unsung heroes in the war against poaching.
By exploring the hopes and plans of those committed to rhino conservation, the film will take on a unique angle, aiming to educate and create awareness about rhino poaching as well as highlight our personal connection to nature and our role in its protection and conservation.
