Final Call: 2020 Wildlife Photo Competition
Do you remember arriving at Kariega Game Reserve and heading out on your first safari? Were you excited to see wildlife and take lots of photographs and videos? Can you recall how you felt sitting in the open game drive vehicle and taking in the scenery? We hope that you enjoyed many close encounters with wildlife and managed to capture these as photographic memories. If so, you have the chance to enter as many photos as you like into our 2020 wildlife photo competition. The competition closes on 30 April 2020.
Heed our final call to scroll through your Kariega wildlife photos enter them into our 2020 wildlife photo competition via our Kariega Facebook page. You stand a chance to win a two night all-inclusive stay for two people our Ukhozi Lodge.
Final Call: Fantastic 2020 Wildlife Photo Competition
If you haven't heard about our fantastic 2020 wildlife photo competition, where have you been hiding? You have until 30 April 2020 to upload your awesome wildlife photos taken at Kariega Game Reserve to our Kariega Facebook page. You can enter as many photographs as you like.
The two categories for the 2020 Wildlife Photo Competition are:
- Best Wildlife Photograph
- Audience Favourite Wildlife Photograph
We will award two winners, one per category. This annual photo competition is very popular for a good reason - the amazing prize to return to Kariega for two nights of course!
Amazing Prize: 2020 Wildlife Photo Competition
What are the amazing prizes you may ask? How does a two night all-inclusive stay for two people at Ukhozi Lodge on Kariega Game Reserve sound? This lodge truly captures the romance and intimacy of Africa. The stylish lodge is superbly sculptured from stone, wood and glass and nestles subtly into the landscape. Views are spectacular and the beautiful rim-flow pool offers guests a panoramic view of the river, plains and wildlife. The exclusive lodge can accommodate up to 20 guests in 10 luxurious suites, each offering complete privacy with their own breath-taking vistas and private plunge pools.
The prize is fully inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local beverages and safari activities. Morning and afternoon safaris are hosted by an experienced and highly trained field guide who will take you back into the Kariega wilderness. You can also enjoy a guided game walk, river cruise, river fishing and canoeing.
Final Call: Enter Your Wildlife Photos Now
You only have until 30 April 2020 to enter your photographs by uploading them to our Kariega Facebook page. During May 2020 our panel of judges will set about selecting the wildlife photo competition finalists. Once we have decided on the photography finalists, we will ask our Facebook community to vote for their favourite wildlife photo by ‘liking it’ in our album.
Not on Facebook? Enter our 2020 Instagram Photo Competition
If you don't use Facebook or prefer Instagram, we also have a 2020 Instagram Wildlife Photo Competition for you to enter. This separate competition runs from 1 July 2019 until 30 June 2020. You still have some time to enter your special wildlife photos via Instagram. Enter using these three easy steps:
- Post your favourite wildlife photograph taken at Kariega Game Reserve on your Instagram feed.
- Use the hashtag #KariegaPhoto in the caption.
- Ensure you are following @kariega.game.reserve.
One photo a week will be selected and all the weekly winners will be reviewed by our panel of judges once the competition has closed. Only one overall winner will be selected for the 2020 Instagram Photo competition. The prize is also an all-inclusive two night stay at Ukhozi Lodge on Kariega Game Reserve.
