Kariega guide shares facts about Euphorbia triangularis

Kariega field guide Tayla takes some time to share information about the Euphorbia triangularis with her guests. This is the most common of the tree Euphorbia’s found in the Eastern Cape and they are plentiful on the Kariega Game Reserve. The Euphorbia is a succulent tree, usually with a single trunk and several branches. The latex sap is highly toxic and any direct contact should be avoided. The tree's flowers attract birds, bees, butterflies and other insects.

Leadership International delegates enjoy Eastern Cape Safari

The short video clip was shared by recent guest Debbie Saviano. Debbie was a participant and speaker in a specialised women's leadership programme called Leadership International (#LISA14). Debbie is a regular speaker at the events organised by Leadership Woman, a private, non-profit, educational organization with its headquarters in Dallas, USA. The focus of the programme is to advance and improve the personal, economic and professional status of woman. While in South Africa the ladies enjoyed a Kariega safari experience as part of their itinerary.

"All the Guides are incredible at Kariega Game Reserve but naturally we feel our Tayla Rocks! She is a beautiful young woman whose knowledge and passion for the land is most heartwarming." says Debbie.
