Kariega Photo of the Week - Fighting Zebras
Zebras exist in the wild in groups known as Harems - female herds dominated by one mating male. Younger males are kicked out of the Harem when they reach adolescence and then usually form part of a bachelor herd until they are strong enough to challenge an older male for his own Harem. While they are in the bachelor herds, their time consists mostly of playful fighting in order to prepare themselves.
