Rhino eye close-up at Kariega Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, South Africa
In a recent photo of the week we remarked on the beauty of our own human gaze, but what of the gaze of a rhino and the gaze of every living creature we are lucky to encounter? Although we may never know the details, there are undoubtedly things that the rhino takes pleasure in, preferences they may have, things they dislike. Here at Kariega, this consciousness commands our love, loyalty and respect.
