Glen Avon Lodge is a 5 star family owned and operated boutique hotel situated in Cape Town’s beautiful Constantia Valley. The characteristic Cape Dutch architecture surrounded by manicured lawns and romantic rose gardens tell of a by-gone era of luxury and opulence. Set on a backdrop of rolling valleys and wine estates, Glen Avon is located at the start of the famous Constantia Wine Route – the birthplace of the wine industry in South Africa. It is also located a short distance from Cape Town’s main attractions such as the Waterfront, Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Orchestrated by owner and Cordon bleu chef, Wendy, the Glen Avon Restaurant offers guests an elegant fine-dining experience of local flavours complimented by a premium wine selection, fresh produce from the garden and personal service. Before arriving indoors to the romantic ambiance of white linen, candle light and soft décor, guests can enjoy sundowners on the patio. After dinner, enjoy tea, coffee, liqueurs and homemade truffles in the comfy lounge, or outside on the patio relishing a cool summer breeze. 

The dining room and front patio are also open in the mornings for a full English and Continental breakfast, to be enjoyed overlooking the fresh and colourful gardens. During the day, the kitchen offers a range of light snacks including biscuits, cake, salads and sandwiches.
