Lage

The Kariega Reserve is located in the Eastern Cape and is part of the famous Garden Route , which extends from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, including the coastal landscape and parts of the nearby inland. In addition to the beautiful landscape with its fynbos, the Garden Route traverses some of South Africa's most memorable attractions such as the Cape Winelands , the Knysna Woods and the small coastal town of Plettenberg Bay .

The nearest airport is Port Elizabeth (about 80 minutes by car). The flight time to Cape Town is about 60 minutes and to Johannesburg about 90 minutes.

Rezeption –Kariega Main Lodge,Ukhozi Lodge und The Homestead Lodge

Fahren Sie von Kapstadt der N2 und der Garden Route entlang in Richtung Grahamstown.

Strecke 1
Die Küstenautobahn auf der R72 wählen, über Alexandria Richtung Kenton-on-Sea, wo Sie landeinwärts 14 km auf der R343 entlang fahren.

Strecke 2
Fahren Sie auf der N2 Richtung Grahamstown und biegen Sie vor dem Erreichen von Grahamstown auf die R343 Richtung Kenton-on-Sea ab, und nach 32 km erreichen Sie Ihr Ziel.

River Lodge Rezeption

From Port Elizabeth, travel 50 miles along the N2 towards Grahamstown and take the junction onto the R72 towards Port Alfred and Kenton-on-Sea. The turn-off to the signposted River Lodge is exactly 15 km to Alexandria.

Settlers drift reception

From Port Elizabeth, travel 50 miles along the N2 towards Grahamstown and take the junction onto the R72 towards Port Alfred and Kenton-on-Sea. Approximately 10 kilometers past the village of Alexandria comes a sign with direction indicator "Settlers Drift". Please follow this road.
